How my Love for the Lionhead Rabbit began
My husband and I were givin this little rabbit by a neighbor who could no longer keep him. he had this cute mohawk and a personality out of this world we soon found out through reserch that he was a mini lionhead, and my love for the breed grew imediatly when I saw that they all were just as cute well almost as cute as my Mr.Whiskers I couldnt find a breeder near my home and everyone I spoke to at the pet shops told me that they were the meanest rabbit breed that they knew of. I myself find that not to be true. I had almost convinced my husband to drive half way across the state to find me another bunny or either to pay to have one flown to me when we took the 5 kids to an animal auction. there I found this orange colored calico patterned lionhead that my loving husband purchased for me for a measly eight dollars. I settled for the one rabbit only after begging to save all of their lives lionhead or not after overhearing that someone that had bid on several of the rabbits planned to feed them to snakes.I now plan to begin breeding and selling Lionheads as well as promoting the breed and helping educate the bunny lover on careing for the Lionhead Rabbit
